From our farm to your plate.

Here at John O’Dwyer Butchers we are proud to say that all of our beef and lamb comes from our own farm or the farms of local producers (within 3 miles of the shop). To the rear of the shop is our fully licenced EU approved abattoir (EU 2584). We feel that by having our own farm, abattoir and shop gives an essential element of trust that all customers want when they buy meat today.

Grass fed Aberdeen Angus beef is our specialty and we feel it produces the highest quality marbled beef from grass. All our beef is dry aged in the traditional method of developing flavour.

The delicatessen side of our business is growing year on year. All of our fresh salads are prepared daily from scratch. We also cater for busy working families with a large range of ready to heat products cooked fresh daily such as chicken curry, cottage pie, lasagna, vol-au-vents and ceasar salads. Not to mention our famous slowly cooked Rotisserie chickens!
